Maureen E. Marshall is a graduate student in the Anthropology Department at the University of Chicago, studying bioarchaeology and mortuary analysis. She has been a member of Project ArAGATS since the 2005 excavation season. Her dissertation research focuses on movement and social organization in the Tsaghkahovit Plain during the Late Bronze Age (1500-1200 B.C.) by examining human remains and changing mortuary practices. This investigation includes chemical analyses of bone for strontium, oxygen, and carbon isotopes. Maureen holds a Master of Arts degree in Social Science from the University of Chicago and a dual bachelor's degree in Anthropological Archaeology and Literature-Writing from the University of California, San Diego.
